Rural, northern Indiana: How do I help a friend get a job and transportation when I live in NC?
September 9th, 2008 | by admin |Bill R asked:
He has no internet, can borrow a vehicle on a limited schedule, has kids to support and wants to work very badly. I’ve given him too much already and can’t afford to help any more. Tried some charities and whatnot, but that only goes so far. Does anyone know of a way for him to get cheap transportation, and a job around northern rural Indiana (Knox) making an hourly rate which can handle the expenses of commuting to work a long way? I’m considering asking Oprah
since I’ve already helped his family since Christmas and it has cost me about $5,000 at this point!

Valparaiso is only about a half-hour away - TONS of work there. Check out Craigslist for jobs and vehicles..
