June 1st, 2008 | by admin |Slade asked:
I want to work, im looking for a job that will help people that has nothing to do with blood or open wounds or anything like that. I thought about a fighter fighter, but i really dont like fire.
Im really into computers…and i dont think there are great paying jobs that help people.

I think that you should find something that you like instead of worrying about how much you will make because if you do a job just because of how much money you make chances are that you will not like your job. Find something you like first and then worry about the money.

It sounds as though you need to define “help” and what it means to you personally. There are thousands of jobs that help people however; if these jobs fit your definition of helping people is a personal thing. An example of this would be a teacher. Teachers help their student’s progress in life. Does this fit your definition of help? Financial planners can help their clients get where they want to economically. Tow truck drivers can be your best friend at 2:00AM when you have a flat tire and realize you don’t have a spare with you. A 911 dispatcher is the most important person to the victim on the other end of the telephone line and transmits the data that will save their life. …Just some things to think about.
On a side note: If you have a problem with blood or open wounds do not become a Firefighter unless you’re willing to get over your fear. The present day Firefighter will usually run more medical type calls, car accidents, etc. than fire calls.
