I graduate from college in a few weeks and would like to travel around Europe for a month. I hear the best time to travel is in May. Should I wait until then? OR should I go sooner like April because it would allow me to come back earlier and have a head start before other graduates of Spring on finding a job?

How does bankrupsy effect finding a job after college?

knight35966 asked:

I was notified yesterday that my plant is closing down. My wife was told 2 weeks ago that her plant was closing down to move overseas for cheaper labor. There are no other jobs within an hour and 1/2 of our home that pays over $10 an hour. I am wanting to go to college to get a degree so I can get a good job.The problem is the only jobs in our area are minimum wage jobs and it takes both of us making over $10 an hour full time to make ends meet. We have already got rid of everything we didn’t need bill wise. We had our phone service cut off, our internet off, and our satalite tv turned off. We have around $5000 in miscleaneous debt that we have been trying to pay off ( car payment, credit cards, and bank loans) We have a mobile home which is several years old and can’t sale it for what we owe. Anyone got any suggestions on paying these off instead of bankrupsy? Having this mobile home we cannot relocate to find decent paying jobs. Should we consider bankrupsy? Hows it work?

How can a person who is afraid of job interviews go about finding a job?

March 10th, 2009
Finding a job
Whatever asked:

The person in question has been unemployed for several months due to fear of job interviews. They have avoided looking for work for that very reason. They get too nervous at interviews, and therefore perform poorly. Is there a way for a person to find a job without having to interview for one?

Btw, the person is just looking for regular f/t or p/t work (e.g., work in a store, or a restaurant, etc).

When job hunting, is it alright to apply to everything or be somewhat picky of your search?

I’m looking for a new job elsewhere and there are plenty of openings available in my field with varying degrees of experience required. I’m definitely qualified for most of them but should I apply to them all or pick and choose?

I understand that the more you send out, someone will bite and ask to come in and interview. I just don’t feel right sending out my resume with all of my contact information to everyone because who knows what kind of creep will end up with that information.
